Get excited because February 9 is National OSC Day! We want to celebrate the amazing people who serve as new home online sales specialists and recognize the hard work of Online Sales Consulants everywhere. 

Online sales specialists play a vital role in new home companies and the entire home building industry. They are often the first people to interact with potential customers. Frequently, they’re at the forefront of testing new and innovative techniques that lead to success within their organization. 

Homebuilders, here are some ways you can celebrate and recognize your OSCs on the big day!

Express your Appreciation 

Whether it’s in person, a written note, or, better yet, a video email, a social post, a thank you goes a long way. Let your online sales specialists know how important they are to the company’s success. 

Get the Entire Team Involved 

Ask employees and the sales team to share how an OSC has gone above and beyond or get everyone together in the office or on a Zoom call to celebrate.

Celebrate the Numbers 

When you look at how many people the OSCs come into contact with, emails they send, phone calls they make, and dollars they contribute to the bottom line, the numbers can be staggering. Celebrate the information with the entire company.

Give a Token of Appreciation 

Everyone loves a gift, but it doesn’t have to be extravagant - a special lunch, flowers, a gift card, or something more personalized to their interests would be a perfect thank you.

Be Their Back Up

Offer to take over their inbound calls for the afternoon while they enjoy a pedicure, massage, or a movie.
