The Online Sales Counselor (OSC) term has become widely used by the industry, and I know that I have am partly to blame for that… but it is time to change the name. In fact, it is time to take out the words “online” and “sales.” Why? Watch the video below to learn exactly what I mean.
The role formerly known as OSC has become so much more. The best sales programs have the position handling phone calls from all sources – not just online. Your customer also finds comfort in knowing that the person they are speaking with doesn’t have “sales” in their title. What do you think? Have you already made the switch to something else?
